I have just resent the invitations to post on the Tyre Family Chronicles This was prompted by Joan sending an e-mail that her invite had expired. As I am not exactly a techy when it comes to how these blogs actually work I have included others who may have experienced the same default.
I am sitting here, in our 3rd floor condo watching the traffic on a snowy day in Victoria. Al and I moved into a brand new condo 2 years ago and are both now retired. Well sort of. I occasionally help Bob and Joan out at the store and Al works part time for the Vancouver Island Prostrate Center organizing their Men's support group and helping out with fund raising events.
We have four grandchildren, Feenie, Jack, Mya and Chloe, who light up our lives. Our children, Sarah and Ben live in Victoria so we are able to see them and their children often. Sarah has in the last couple of years embraced Judaism and was remarried last summer (2010) to a wonderful man Devon (Avrum). We are so very proud of them and their little family.
Ben is now single and embracing a new life that includes travels all over the world. He cares for his two girls whenever he is in town and is an incredible Dad. Chloe is 2 today!!! Mya who is 6 is our little angel who's health issues seem to be fairly stable at this time. Considering what she has been through in her life she is a happy, beautiful little girl.
The last few years have been a little rough on our family but we have all come through it a little stronger and look forward to many years of watching the youngest generation grow up.
